PRAYER FOR HAITI
Posted by: Rev. Charles King on Mon Jan 25 2010

This is a difficult time for the people of Haiti. This is a trial of faith for those who have already been victims of poverty, underdevelopment and deprivation. This is part of the christian journey that can be a channel for refining of faith. Someone once said that 'talent was born in solitude, but character in the vicissitudes of life.' Our prayer is that after all is done, the character and resilience of the Haitians will be stronger and their resolve to become more united in their faith and quest for development will be firmer.
God who answers by fire will thunder down from the mountains and answer the many cries lifted up from all parts of the world. The humanitarian spirit exhibited during this time of great adversity is a demonstration of the world's oneness in fighting evil and striving for brotherhood and sisterhood.
May God raise up more warriors to intercede for the nation of Haiti, for leaders and for all who are working relentlessly towards building broken lives and rebuilding broken walls.
Speak Lord,  speak from your throne above.
