The Camphor Council for Community Development invites everyone to attend its Annual Jazz Awards Luncheon and Silent Auction on Sunday, June 22, 2003, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in the lower dining room of the church. The afternoon will feature a sumptious luncheon and the cool jazz of the "Ralph Penn and Friends" ensemble. Two outstanding persons in Philadelphia will receive the Clarence Johnson and Louise Gaskins Community Service Awards. The Jazz Luncheon is CCCD's only fundraiser. Tickets are $20 and the proceeds benefit the educational and housing programs in the Camphor community. A Silent Auction of jazz memorobilia and art will be conducted during the luncheon.
