Giving

Your giving is an act of worship and makes possible the ministry of changing lives, transforming communities and renewing the church.  In addition to offerings given through the offering plate, there are three ways to give:

• Donate Online Using PayPal

All members and visitors may use PayPal to make a secure, online donation to Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church for weekly offering or for a special ministry.  If you don't have a PayPal account, you can set one up, or you can use your credit or debit card to donate. PayPal will email you a receipt. To donate, please click the grey paypal button on the home page. This will take you to PayPal's secure site. The default fund for your contribution is the "Operating Fund" (general budget expenses).  Other funds are "Apportionments" (local, national and worldwide missions), "Capital" (for capital improvements to church properties), and "Designated Giving" (specific ministries). Should you wish to split your donation among more than one fund you can put the instructions on how you want your donation split in the "Add special instructions to Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church" box on the confirmation page for your transaction. Note: Paypal takes a fee of 2.2% + $0.30 from your donation.

• Electronic Funds Transfer

EFT allows consistent amounts to be drawn directly regularly from your banking account.  This option allows you to give as a regular priority and it also reduces the processing expense for the church.  To get started with EFT, you can complete a commitment card and select the EFT option. If you are new to EFT, you will be asked to submit a voided check. For additional information please contact the Finance Committee, 215-747-2600.

• Mail

Donations may be mailed to Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church at 5620 Wyalusing Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131

Online Giving Agreement

When donating to Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church, you acknowledge that:

• Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization as a recognized congregation of The United Methodist Church.
• Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church did not provide any goods or services to you, in consideration, in whole or in part, for your donation, other than the provision of intangible religious benefits.
• Your donation to Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church becomes the property of Camphor Memorial and Camphor Memorial has ultimate control, authority and discretion with regard to contributions it receives.
