Dear friends. Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry (started in 2001) -- www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).
In Toronto, we make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to (worldwide.) We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, as well as getting kids into free dentists.
We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.
Please send us your prayer requests (Email: reachus@tjlit.org), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely; and, we are thrilled when Christians connect. As the world becomes more hostile towards Christians; it is essential that we connect.
At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.
Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world. We get over 1000 visits a day in 105 (our counter is broken), which means somebody will be praying for you.
Please also click on and read the Bible verse of the day, and say a prayer for us. Also, please send us words of encouragement.
Is there anyway we can help you? Please contact us – especially if you are lonely. God bless you.
To our American friends: Please read article 51 on our site “Things I love about America.”
PS. Sorry to the person whose guestbook we have just signed. If we have taken up a lot of space and not commented, again, sorry. The fact that we have left a message is proof, in our opinion, that you are good. God bless you. Ian.

I was browsing the internet for my birth father and to my surprise, I found out that Rev. Daniel L. Ridout who was the reverend at this church from1941-1949 was my grandfather. His son Daniel Ridout is my father whom I've been searching for, for a long time. Believe it or not, I am only 30 years of age and he is my biological grandfather! My father is in his early eighties. I've created an account with the church so I could possibly keep up with everything. I would like to know a little more about the history of this church. My grandfather and father were great musicians (so I've heard) and I would like to know if you have anymore information on his time as reverend. Sorry for any inconvenience if I just so happen to not get a reply. I live in South Jersey and I've never found my father and my mother passed away five years ago September. She only told me the things she wanted me to hear. But maybe she had her reasons. Until then, God Bless!!!---------------------------------------------------------------------------Alice Dillard

Dear Carol, I love the work you did on the website. You always did have great design and layout techniques. As you probably know, I am no longer operating my business from 1500 S. Broad Street because my lease was not renewed. It took me quite by surprise but i am re-organizing and looking for a new location. I took a computer course offered by the Mayor's Office Of Technology and am now certified. Computer training and certification will be offered at my new location. I will only continue with the bulk mailing and printing for the bulk mail clients. Of course, the web design will always be a part of the services I offer. I must admit, it has been a trying year, but I pray daily for strength. In fact, for the theraputic values, I write most of my prayer on paper as I pray. I always tray to pour my heart out as poetically and earnestly as possible. I remind myself that the Lord, in His Word, stated He would never heap more of a burden upon us than He will enable us to bear. Knowing that I am not alone and that my Savior love me keeps me putting one foot in front of the other toward my goal in spite of any obstacle I encounter. I often think about you and would like you to contact me. I truly require your help right now. I hope that you have kept me in your prayers as well. Loving you always, Novaline

Craig A. Harris, Sun Feb 26 2006, 01:27pm
My name is Craig Harris and I am the nephew of Mrs. Gloria Thompson and brother of Ms. Donna Barkley and I now live in Atlanta, GA. Another friend of mine sent me the pictures from Family Day 2005 and I saw a picture of Ms. Denise Rhodes who I grew up in Camphor with and sung in the Youth Choir with. I would like to leave my phone number:404-794-3905 and you have my email address:PrinceQueBamaStU@aol.com. Please forward this information to her if you can; I'd like to hear from her. I also would like to hear from any others who I grew up in Camphor with circa 1972-1977(when I left for college). I don't mind if you pass this information on, especially if it gets me in touch with my old friends like Denise Rhodes, Billie-Ann Reliford, Larry Marshall , Deloris or Darlene Hines, Erica Collins or any one else from the Youth Choir of that era. Also, Reese Brown and his wife Elaine, their children: Resse III,rev. David Brown, Paul and Nicole. I'd really appreciate it. I pray that Camphor continues to grow and serve God and receive His Blessings. Also, please pass this on to Pastor John Roberts as he was Pastor when I became a member of Camphor and his daughter Mary. Thank you very much!! BE BLESSED!!!!
Delores Camphor, Sun Nov 27 2005, 01:06pm
Hello! I am so pleased to have found the church. Mainly because of the person who it is named after. For some time now I have been trying to complete my family tree, though we know that there is really no completion of such a grand task, but with the help of the Lord I believe that I will be able to leave behind a wealth of information as it pertains to the Camphor roots.
You can imagine my excitement when I came across your website. I have had very little information regarding the camphor name, though I know that we have a large group of camphors in Mississippi and in Louisiana. There are also Camphors residing in New Mexico.
I am recording this message in this guest book to say thank you for providing the information that you have provided as it relates to Bishop Alexander Priestly Camphor. I do need more information. Did he have any children? What was the maiden name of his wife? What was his wifes first name? Who were his parents and who were their parents? Did he have any siblings? If anyone can help me on this, please do!
Contact me via the e-mail address minccmd@msn.com

I'm so glad I've taken the time to look at the site. Even though I don't get the chance to come to Camphor often, it makes my heart smile to see all of the wonderful things Camphor, and especially my family, is doing there :) The Camphor family is still going strong.
